Required Skills:

• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology
• Valid medical license and DEA registration
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proven experience in interventional procedures such as L/RHC, PCI, Balloon Angioplasty, IVUS
• Strong clinical judgment and patient management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Proficient in using EPIC electronic medical records system

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in outpatient and private practice settings
• Additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support or specialized interventional techniques
• Prior experience working with diverse patient populations (ages 18-100)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of post-residency or fellowship experience in interventional cardiology
• Prior experience in academic settings or ongoing training beneficial

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with nightly STEMI call and weekend coverage as needed
• Support staff includes clinical team, APPs, and cath lab staff
• Up to 40 hours of coverage per month, including vacation coverage and call duties
• Regular patient volume of approximately 18 patients per day
• Ability to comply with credentialing process within 90 days; temporary licensing options available
• CAM license and DEA registration necessary; travel reimbursements provided when applicable
