Family Medicine Physician Opportunity

Community Hospital System | Upstate New York

A well-established community hospital system in Upstate New York is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join an established primary care team. This opportunity is available due to a physician retirement, allowing the incoming physician to step into a well-supported practice with an existing patient base and strong community demand.

Physicians practice in a modern Primary Care Center completed in 2020, designed to support efficient patient care and collaborative teamwork.

Care Team
  • 3 Internal Medicine Physicians
  • 4 Family Medicine Advanced Practice Providers
  • 1 Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner
  • 1 Physician Assistant

Clinical Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
  • Coordinate care with specialty providers
  • Participate in shared physician call coverage
Schedule
  • Monday – Friday outpatient clinic schedule
  • Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Average ~20 patients per day
  • Structured schedule designed to support work-life balance
Call

Shared call coverage among physician colleagues:

  • 1 weekend call approximately every other month
  • 3 weekday call nights during alternating months
Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary

  • $260,000 – $300,000+ depending on experience
  • Based on MGMA benchmarks

Productivity Compensation

  • $30 per wRVU

Production Bonus

  • Paid quarterly
  • Up to $5,000 per quarter
  • Based on exceeding the 50th percentile productivity benchmark
