Required Skills

• Proficient in reading and interpreting Echos, holters, stress tests (including Nucs), EKGs, and other cardiology studies.
• Ability to consult on patient cases and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of non-invasive cardiology procedures and departmental protocols.
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with patients and staff.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with interventional and electrophysiology services.
• Additional certifications such as CTA reading.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system.
• Advanced training in stress testing, TEEs, cardioversions.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Board Certification in Cardiology (preferred but not mandatory).
• PA licensure with current DEA and CSR.
• Prior experience in hospital-based cardiology practice.
• Demonstrated competence in performing specialized cardiology procedures.

Other Requirements

• Active PA license and DEA registration.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; CTA reading is a plus.
• Credentialing process to be completed within 90 days; provisional licensing possible with a clean file.
• Shift schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per day (08:00 - 17:00), including weekends and nights as needed.
• Availability to support 1-2 weeks per month, with weekend and night shifts as required.
• Candidate must be comfortable working in an adult patient population (18+).

Hourly Pay Rate: $439.73
