Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a registered nurse skilled in operating room nursing to provide specialized care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the operating room, ensuring all equipment and instruments are sterilized and ready.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery, responding promptly to changes.
• Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a safe surgical environment.
• Participate in the documentation and reporting of patient care activities.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current and unrestricted RN license.
• Proven experience in operating room nursing.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterile techniques.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic clinical setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Schedule:

• Primarily day shifts.
• May include working up to 3 Saturdays within a six-week schedule period.
• Sundays off.
• Holidays are determined based on surgical volume and may require availability.
