Senior Program Security Officer

MANTECH is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Program Security Officer to join our team in Huntsville, AL. The Compliance and Training Directorate contractor lead needs to be able to supervise and assist in enterprise functions including policy, strategic planning, knowledge and task management, security training, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide senior-level advisory and liaison support between program leadership, engineering teams, and government security officials.
Ensure implementation of comprehensive protection strategies and implementation for CPI in alignment with Department of War (DoW) directives, national policy, and acquisition security reform.
Define and validate SAP requirements, assist in the development of secure architectures, and integrate protection measures across multi-domain operations.
Facilitate multiple MDA SAPCO working groups driving policy alignment, process improvement, and inter-directorate coordination.
Leadership in the Daily operations of a SAP Central Office, to include: The
development and maintenance of all enterprise SAP security policies, standard
operating procedures, and template development.Oversee / creates MOAs/MOUs for DEZO and Co-Utilizations documents for enterprise locations
Review SCG packages for consistency and accuracy, maintain and update SCG Template, complete enterprise security classification change requests
Oversee 5-year updates process for OCA signed SCGs and maintain all program record files as required per DODI 5205.11.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and at least 8 years of experience as a program security officer (PSO) with at least 5 cumulative years in acquisition SAPs. Additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Possess exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a high level of expertise in SAP regulations and the ability to provide security guidance to both government and contractor personnel.
Possess an expert knowledge of the DoDM 5205.07 series, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and other relevant SAP security policies.
Have a solid understanding of Government policies and personnel security functions within a Special Access Program (SAP) Office
Must be knowledgeable of OPSEC principals, policies, vulnerability assessments and countermeasure development and Program Protection Plan (PPP) development
Travel is required to both CONUS and OCONUS locations
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree
Master level skills and knowledge in Special Access Program (SAP) operations
Capable of providing team leadership for a wide variety of security related tasks.
Possesses extensive expertise, theoretical knowledge, and analytical abilities to
synergize and apply personnel, industrial, physical, IT/IA and information security
principals as they apply to Special Access Programs (SAPs)
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility. Additionally, this position is nominative, therefore, the successful applicant must apply for, and be granted, SCI and SAP access.
