A school-based Physical Therapist position is available in the San Juan Capistrano area, providing services on-site within an educational setting. This assignment covers a maternity leave through the end of the current school year, with a flexible schedule and options for part-time or full-time work. The role supports students from preschool through high school, including elementary, middle, and high school levels, offering the opportunity to impact childrens fine motor skills and overall physical development during critical learning phases.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Active California Physical Therapist License
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred, though not required
  • Ability to work with 1:1 student support, including kindergarten through high school
  • Skilled in fine motor skills development and adapting therapies for diverse age groups

Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services to students on-site from preschool to high school within the school environment
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to develop individualized plans supporting student mobility and function
  • Evaluate student needs and progress, adjusting therapeutic interventions accordingly
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies regarding therapy services
