Pay Rate: $20.50/hour

 

Securitas Security Services is seeking reliable and professional Full-Time Security Officers to provide a safe and secure environment at corporate sites in Bedford, MA and Burlington, MA. The ideal candidates will maintain a visible presence, monitor site activity, and respond promptly to incidents while delivering excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure safety and security of the premises
• Monitor surveillance systems, access control points, and alarm systems
• Control site access by verifying identification and issuing visitor badges
• Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents in a calm and efficient manner
• Prepare accurate and detailed incident and daily activity reports
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Provide assistance and direction to employees and visitors as needed
• Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency services when required

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior security experience preferred (corporate or commercial setting a plus)
• Valid driver’s license (if patrol duties require vehicle use)
• Strong observation and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations
• Basic computer proficiency for report writing and monitoring systems
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and work indoors/outdoors
