Job Summary and Qualifications

This is an exempt professional, that while learning will be responsible for assisting the Director of Pharmacy and the Residency Program Director in maintaining and enhancing pharmaceutical care services, developing and applying guidelines, policies and procedures approved by the Medical Staff, the Pharmacy and Therapeutics, ASHP and JCAHO standards of practice. The Clinical Pharmacist Resident will perform those functions necessary to enhance his/her own knowledge as well as improve patient care, with emphasis in optimizing the patient care as assigned during scheduled rotations. The Residency program requires participation in ASHP Midyear Poster Session, Dade County Pharmacy Association Annual CE Lecture and Annual SE Residency Conference presentation of Research Project

What qualifications you will need:

• Doctorate Degree, required 
• 0 to 2 years of experience
• At a minimal 1 yr of experimental pharmacy training
